As part of Victoria’s Big Build, we’re removing the dangerous and congested level crossing in Deer Park, and V/Line is completing critical maintenance.
While we work, there will be major disruptions on the Geelong Line from Tuesday 11 April to Wednesday 3 May.
Geelong Line trains will run between Waurn Ponds and Wyndham Vale. A stopping all stations shuttle bus will run between Wyndham Vale, Tarneit, Deer Park and Sunshine.
Passengers travelling to Southern Cross or Footscray will catch a Geelong train to Wyndham Vale, then a shuttle bus to Werribee Station to travel on a Werribee line service.
Please plan your journey and allow extra time.
Passengers travelling to Southern Cross or Footscray: Catch a Geelong train to Wyndham Vale, then a shuttle bus to Werribee Station and change to a Werribee Line train.
Passengers travelling to Southern Cross and Footscray from Tarneit can catch a shuttle bus to Laverton Station to into interchange onto the metropolitan train network to complete their journey.
Passengers travelling from Southern Cross or Footscray: Catch a Werribee Line train to Werribee, then a shuttle bus to Wyndham Vale and change to a train to Geelong.
Tarneit passengers travelling to and from Southern Cross and Footscray: Catch a shuttle bus to Laverton than a Werribee Line train.
Tarneit passengers travelling to Geelong Line stations: Catch a shuttle bus to Wyndham Vale then a Geelong Line train.
Deer Park passengers travelling:
Coaches replace trains for the entire journey between Southern Cross and Waurn Ponds.
Coach replacement services will not stop at Footscray.
Passengers travelling to Footscray: Catch a coach to Southern Cross then a metropolitan line train to Footscray.
Passengers traveling from Footscray to Geelong: Catch a train replacement coach from Southern Cross.
Coaches replace trains between Wyndham Vale and Waurn Ponds. Trains will run between Southern Cross and Wyndham Vale.

Each weekday from 11 April to 3 May, a direct ferry service will be available to book each weekday morning and evening between Geelong and Docklands as an alternative travel option.
Pre-bookings are essential, and a valid myki will be required to board the ferry.
Geelong to Docklands – Monday to Friday: depart at 7.00am, arrive at 8.35am
Docklands to Geelong – Monday to Friday: depart at 5.30pm, arrive at 7.05pm
