Car parking and cyclist information

Buses are replacing trains on the Upfield Line until the last service Sunday 1 November.

From Monday 3 August to Sunday 25 October, a major bus interchange will be established at Brunswick Station.

This means there'll be some changes to the Upfield Bike Path and car parking along the Upfield Line.

Cyclists

On weekday mornings between 7am and 9am, there'll be more pedestrians than usual on the Upfield Bike Path between Victoria and Albert streets.

Station staff will also be crossing the Upfield Bike Path near the station entrance (at Wilkinson Street) to park their vehicles.

To ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, it's recommended that cyclists reduce their speed to 10km per hour or dismount their bicycles through this area.

For cyclists looking to divert the impacted area, a suggested detour will be in place via Prentice Street to the west of the rail line. Wayfinding signage will be in place to assist.

Additional bicycle parking will be provided at Brunswick Station for cyclists connecting with trains to the City.
