Works on the Hurstbridge Line

December 2023

Rail upgrade works

We’re working in the train corridor between Macleod and Greensborough stations to upgrade tracks and install new signalling and electrical equipment.

We're also making the Wattle Drive pedestrian crossing in Watsonia safer and more accessible with new emergency gates and fencing, crossing alarm bells, and lighting.

These network upgrades will enable the completed M80 Ring Road to be built over the Hurstbridge Line in Greensborough.

For more information, please visit bigbuild.vic.gov.au.

Maintenance works

Planned maintenance and renewal works keep trains running safely and reliably for passengers.
