Better bus connections to trains for Kilmore and Wallan
Link bus
Link Bus will be introduced to Kilmore and Wallan from Monday 26 October 2020.
Link buses will wait for up to 20 minutes on weekday evenings for V/Line trains to arrive, to give you a more seamless connection between trains and buses.
This means if your train is running late, the bus will wait up to 20 minutes for you to arrive.
Kilmore service changes
From Monday 26 October 2020, we’re making changes to buses in Kilmore, to give you more services and better connections.
From 5pm on weekdays, Link buses will wait up to 20 minutes at Kilmore East Station for evening V/Line train services to arrive from Southern Cross Station.
Trains will arrive at Kilmore East Station from Southern Cross Station (Monday to Friday) at 5.06pm, 5.40pm, 6.21pm, 6.47pm, 7.27pm, 8.06pm, 8.47pm and 10.44pm and Link buses will connect with these services.
The bus route will also be extended, extra services added and we’re introducing bus services on Saturdays to give you better access to Kilmore.

Wallan service changes
From Monday 26 October 2020, we’re making changes to buses in Wallan, giving you better connections between V/Line trains and buses.
From 5pm on weekdays, Link buses will wait up to 20 minutes at Wallan Station for evening V/Line train services to arrive from Southern Cross Station.
Trains will arrive at Wallan Station from Southern Cross Station (Monday to Friday) at 5.24pm, 6.05pm, 6.33pm, 7.13pm, 7.52pm, 8.33pm and 10.30pm and Link buses will connect with these services.
Link buses will run differently to daytime services.
Link Bus A
From 5pm, bus routes 1 and 2 will have a different stopping pattern, and combine to become Link Bus A.
Route 1 – Wallan Station to Wallan Central via Dudley Street; combined with
Route 2 – Wallan Station to Springridge via High Street

Link Bus B
From 5pm, Route 3 will become Link Bus B, with no changes to its current stopping pattern.
