New bus service to connect Merinda Park Station and Clyde North
From Sunday 30 January 2022, Route 881 Merinda Park Station – Clyde North will provide public transport coverage for the first time to Clyde North residents living along St Germain Boulevard and Thompsons Road.
The new route will provide an east-west bus link along Thompsons Road, connecting residents to Merinda Park Station, local shops, schools, health services, recreation centres and other public transport.
Route 881 will operate every 40 minutes between 6am to 10pm on weekdays, 7am to 9pm on Saturdays and 8am to 9pm on Sundays. On Christmas Day and Good Friday, buses will run to a Sunday timetable. On other public holidays, buses will run to a Saturday timetable.
Route 881 will be coordinated with train services at Merinda Park Station.
Route 881 departs from Thompsons Road and Merinda Park Boulevard and travels east on Thompsons Road, then via Bells Road, St Germain Boulevard, Catees Street, Saldi Street and Jalie Street to the terminus at St Germain Boulevard and Catees Street. It does the same journey on the return.
