Route 798 extended to Clyde North
From 11 May 2025, Route 798 will extend from Cranbourne to Clyde North, giving Clyde North residents better connections to jobs, shops, schools and other transport services.

What’s changing?
Route 798 will now travel along Linsell Boulevard, Hardys Road, Bells Road, Clara Drive, O’Connor Avenue, Alexander Boulevard and Burnbank Parade in Clyde North. It will no longer travel along Selandra Boulevard and Heather Grove.
Route 798 will have a new timetable and continue to run every 20 minutes on average, seven days a week.
Route 798 will continue to connect with trains at Cranbourne Station during busy travel times.
Weekday services will run later, until 11 pm. Saturday services will finish at 11 pm instead of midnight.
Stop changes
Three stops on Selandra Boulevard will be removed and three stops on Heather Grove will no longer be used by Route 798. Passengers can walk to alternative stops on routes 798 and 898.

- Calabrese Court/Selandra Boulevard (Stop ID 51286)
- Blackforest Way/Selandra Boulevard (Stop ID 51285).

- Selandra Boulevard/Heather Grove (Stop ID 51288)
- Hilltop Park/Heather Grove (Stop ID 51289).
