Changes to Routes 12, 30, 35, 86, 96 and 109

From Sunday 8 November, two newly restored iconic W-Class trams will be added to run on Route 35 City Circle. This will change timetables for some routes.  

Service Changes

Route 12

Route 12 trams will return to running along Collins Street between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 12 St Vincents Plaza.

Route 30

Minor changes have been made to the Route 30 timetable to accommodate new E-class trams.

Route 35 (City Circle)

Two of Melbourne’s iconic W-Class trams will be returned to service. Operating hours for the City Circle tram will change, with no services after 6pm from Thursday to Sunday.

Routes 86, 96 and 109

Journey times have been adjusted on Routes 86, 96 and 109.

COVID-19 shuttles

The 11a shuttle will continue to run during peak periods at a 20-minute frequency, Monday to Friday. The peak period will run from 7am to 10.30am and 3pm to 7.30pm. The 11a service will operate between Stop 34 – New Preston Depot and Stop D18 – Victoria Harbour Docklands via Collins Street.
