Essendon bus routes: Temporary bus stop closures from Monday 26 February 2018 until further notice

Bus routes 475, 476, 477, 483, 501, 503, 510 and 903 will not service selected bus stops near Essendon Station from Monday 26 February 2018 until further notice, due to works at Essendon bus interchange. 

Please note that temporary bus stop closures will also affect bus routes in this area from Friday 23 March 2018 to Monday 26 March 2018. Click here for more information.  

From Monday 26 February 2018 (until further notice):

Bus stops that will not be serviced:

  • Russell Street/Buckley Street (Essendon Railway Station)
  • Buckley Street/St Columba's College (Route 903 to Altona only)
  • Buckley Street/Lorraine Street (Route 903 to Altona only)
  • Buckley Street/Robb Street (Route 903 to Alton only)
  • Buckley Street/Scott Street (Route 903 to Altona only)

Route 903 passengers are advised to use the following bus stops:

  • Shamrock Street, near Rose Street (temporary stop) 
  • Buckley Street/Combermere Street (to Altona)

Passengers for the following routes are advised to use the temporary bus stop at Mount Alexander Road (west side near Buckley Street): 

  • Route 475 to Keilor East
  • Route 476 to Plumpton
  • Route 477 to Broadmeadows
  • Route 483 to Sunbury
  • Route 501 to Niddrie
  • Route 503 to Brunswick East

Passengers for the following routes are advised to use the temporary bus stop at Mount Alexander Road (east side, near Fletcher Street):

  • Routes 476, 477, 483 and 501 to Moonee Ponds
  • Route 510 to Ivanhoe

Routes 465, 467, 468 and 903 may also experience delays of approximately 20 minutes.

From 6am Monday 26 March 2018 (until further notice):

Bus stop that will not be serviced:

  • Rose Street/Essendon Railway Station (Route 475 to Moonee Ponds only)

Passengers for the following routes are advised to use the temporary bus stop at Mount Alexander Road (east side, near Fletcher Street):
