Geelong bus routes: Temporary bus stop closures during the Geelong AFL season 2018

Added: 12 April 2018

Bus Route 1, 24, 31, 42, 50, 51, and 55 will not service selected bus stops on Moorabool and Lonsdale Street, due to road closures during the Geelong AFL season 2018.

Closures will be in effect during the following dates and times:

Bus stops that will not be serviced: 

  • Moorabool Street/Fyans Street
  • Moorabool Street/Park Crescent
  • Moorabool Street/Kardinia Park and Ride
  • Kardinia Park and Ride/Moorabool Street
  • Moorabool Street/Kardinia Park
  • Moorabool Street/Lonsdale Street
  • Moorabool Street/Kilgour Street
  • Moorabool Street/Maud Street
  • Lonsdale Street/South Geelong Station 

Passengers are advised to use bus stops at: 

  • Moorabool Street/Little Myers Street (to Deakin University/North Geelong/Jan Juc/Ocean Grove)
  • Moorabool Street/McKillop Street (to North Shore/Geelong)
