Route 3, 16 and 96 trams: Temporary service alterations on Sunday, 28 January 2018

Due to the 2018 Midsumma Pride March on Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, Route 3a, 16, and 96 trams will be affected by temporary service alterations from 1.30pm until 5.30pm on Sunday, 28 January 2018.

Service changes

Routes 3a 

Trams will divert via St Kilda Road between St Kilda Road/St Kilda Junction (Stop 30) and Carlisle Street/St Kilda Town Hall (Stop 36), along the usual Route 3.

Route 16

Trams will operate as Route 16a, divertomg via St Kilda Road between St Kilda Road/St Kilda Junction (Stop 30) and Carlisle Street/St Kilda Town Hall (Stop 36), along the usual Route 3.

Route 96

Trams will operate as Route 96a between East Brunswick and St Kilda Station (Stop 132).

Trams will not service the following stops:

  • Fitzroy Street/St Kilda Road (Stop 131)
  • Fitzroy Street/Princes Street (Stop 132)
  • Fitzroy Street/Canterbury Road (Stop 133)
  • Fitzroy Street/Park Street (Stop 134)
  • Fitzroy Street/Jacka Boulevard (Stop 135)
  • The Esplanade (Stop 136)
  • The Esplanade/Luna Park (138)
  • Carlisle Street/Havelock Street (Stop 32)
  • Carlisle Street/Barkly Street (Stop 33)
  • Carlisle Street/Greeves Street (Stop 34)

Route 96

The following stops will not be serviced:

  • Fitzroy Street/Canterbury Road (Stop 133)
  • Fitzroy Street/Park Street (Stop 134)
  • Fitzroy Street/Acland Street (Stop 135)
  • The Esplanade (Stop 136)
  • The Esplanade/Luna Park (Stop 138)
  • Acland Street/Belford Street (Stop 139)

Alternative travel options

Customers for St Kilda may wish to consider Route 12 trams between Victoria Gardens and Park Street/Fitzroy Street (Stop 143), via Collins Street and Clarendon Street.
