Route 605: Temporary bus stop closures on Sunday 29 July 2018

Bus Route 605 will not service selected bus stops from 7am to 12pm on Sunday 29 July 2018, due to Run Melbourne 2018.

Please note: This event also impacts Routes 216, 219, 220, 234 and 235. Click here for more information.

All stops between Melbourne Girls Grammar/Anderson Street and Queen Street/Flinders Lane will be missed towards Flagstaff Station.

All stops between Alexandra Avenue/Caroline Street and Flinders Street/Banana Alley Vaults will be missed towards Gardenvale.

Bus stops that will not be serviced:

  • Alexandra Avenue/Caroline Street (to Gardenvale)
  • Alexandra Avenue/Dobson Street (to Gardenvale)
  • Melbourne Girls Grammar/Anderson Street (both directions)
  • Birdwood Avenue/Domain Road (both directions)
  • Birdwood Avenue/Melbourne Observatory (to Flagstaff Station)
  • Birdwood Avenue/Shrine of Remembrance (to Gardenvale)
  • Southbank Boulevard/Victorian College of the Arts (to Flagstaff Station)
  • Southbank Boulevard/Victorian Arts Centre (to Gardenvale)
  • Southbank Boulevard/City Road (to Flagstaff Station)
  • Southbank Boulevard/Kavanagh Street (to Gardenvale)
  • Queens Bridge Street/Casino East (to Flagstaff Station)
  • Queens Bridge Street/Queens Bridge (to Gardenvale)
  • Flinders Street/Market Street (to Flagstaff Station)
  • Flinders Street/Banana Alley Vaults (to Gardenvale)
  • Queens Street/Flinders Lane (to Flagstaff Station)

Passengers are advised to use the existing bus stops at:

  • Alexandra Avenue/Dobson Street (to Flagstaff Station)
  • Alexandra Avenue/Chapel Street (to Gardenvale)
  • Queen Street/Bourke Street (both directions)

Passengers can also use the temporary bus stop in both directions at the corner of:

  • Anderson Street/Alexandra Avenue
