Watergardens Station: Temporary lift closures and changes to pedestrian access from Monday 1 May 2017 until mid-2018

Due to lift upgrade works and works as part of the Melton Highway Level Crossing Removal Project, Wategardens Station will be affected by temporary changes to lift and pedestrian access from Thursday 20 April 2017 until mid-2018.

Temporary lift closures

There will be no lift access at Watergardens Station from the first service on Monday 18 September until the last service on Friday, 3 November 2017.

Travel options for customers requiring lift access

Travelling to Watergardens 

Customers requiring lift access are advised to alight at St Albans Station. A taxi will be provided from St Albans to Watergardens Station.

Travelling from Watergardens

Customers requiring lift access are advised to travel to Watergardens Station. A taxi will be provided from Watergardens to St Albans Station.

A taxi shuttle will be provided for customers wishing to travel from one side of Watergardens Station to the other. 

Long-term changes to pedestrian access

While constructions works take place, the pedestrian crossing across Melton Highway (from Old Sydenham Station) near the railway line will closed from Thursday 20 April 2017 until mid-2018. Pedestrian detours will be in place.
