How to plan your journey
If you are coming from Melbourne Airport, the Skybus leaves every 10 to 15 minutes from the airport to Southern Cross Station. There are kiosks inside and outside the airport to purchase tickets.
From Southern Cross, a shuttle tram service that leaves every 1 to 10 minutes (depending on the time of day) to Gates 1, 2 and 3 of the Grand Prix precinct. The shuttle trams are free for Grand Prix ticket holders.
Shuttle trams services also run between Flinders Street and Melbourne Central stations and Gates 5, 8, 9 and 10 of the Grand Prix precinct.

Using a myki
myki is your ticket to travel on trains, trams and buses in Melbourne.
You can purchase a myki card at Melbourne Airport, the Southern Cross Station PTV hub, myki machines at stations, and at myki retail outlets (eg 7-Eleven stores). For Android users Mobile myki is available to download on the Google Wallet app.
If your tram journey starts or finishes outside the Free Tram Zone in the city, make sure you touch on when you board to ensure you have a valid ticket. Tram announcements will tell you when you are entering and leaving the free tram zone.
You do not need to touch on and off if you are a travelling on a Grand Prix shuttle tram service and have a Grand Prix ticket for that day.

Accessibility
Travellers Aid will assist passengers with accessible needs at Gate 1 and Gate 10 throughout all four Grand Prix event days.
Gate 1: Wheelchair support between Stop 130 Middle Park and Gate 1 main entrance.
Gate 10:
- Wheelchair support between Stop 30 St Kilda Junction and corner of St Kilda Road and Fitzroy Street (on demand).
- Buggy Transfer Service between corner of St Kilda Road and Fitzroy Street to Gate 10.
- Wheelchair support from Gate 10 to What Ability Foundation viewing platform.
