Ferries

We oversee three ferry services that operate in Victoria:

  • Western Port Ferry, a ferry service which runs from Stony Point to French Island, Phillip Island (formerly known as the French Island Ferry)
  • Westgate Punt, a ferry service that runs between Spotswood Jetty and Westgate Landing in Port Melbourne.
  • Port Phillip Ferries, two passenger ferry services that run between Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula and Docklands, Melbourne and between Geelong and Docklands, Melbourne.

Using our services

All Victorians are being asked to play their part to keep one another safe, including making responsible choices about using our public transport network.

When travelling on ferries you must wear a fitted face mask covering your nose and mouth, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so, and ensure you wear it for your entire journey.

Remember to put on your fitted face mask before boarding a ferry. You must also wear a mask in areas where you can't keep a safe distance from others.

See coronavirus (COVID-19) for more information on travelling on the network.
