Extra trams for events in November

We’ve organised extra trams for the below events during November. While timetabled trams run to their normal frequency, times may differ due to traffic congestion around event venues. Please allow extra time for your journey.

MCG / Rod Laver Arena

  • Friday 1 November at 7.10pm – T20 International Cricket, Australia v Sri Lanka
  • Thursday 21, 22 & 30 November at 7.30pm – Concert, KISS
  • Thursday 28 November at 7.30pm – Concert, Khalid

Extra tram services run as Route 70a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 7C MCG/Melbourne Arena or as Route 75a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG. Passengers using Southern Cross Station can connect with Route 48 trams on Collins Street.

Extra trams to the above events will be low-floor trams, depending on availability.

AAMI Park/Melbourne Arena

  • Friday 1 November at 7.30pm – Concert, Sticky Fingers
  • Sunday 3 November at 4pm – A League Soccer, Melbourne City v Wellington Phoenix
  • Friday 8 November at 7.30pm - A League Soccer, Melbourne City v CC Mariners
  • Sunday 10 November at 4pm - A League Soccer, Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix
  • Friday 29 November at 7.30pm - A League Soccer, Melbourne Victory v Perth Glory

Extra tram services run as Route 70a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 7C MCG/Melbourne Arena or as Route 75a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG. Passengers using Southern Cross Station can connect with Route 48 trams on Collins Street.

Extra trams to the above events will be low-floor trams, depending on availability.

Marvel Stadium

  • Saturday 2 November at 7.30pm – A League Soccer, Melbourne Victory v Western United
  • Saturday 9 November at 4pm – Concert, RnB Live
  • Friday 15 November at 7pm – Concert, U2
  • Friday 22, 23 & 24 November at 9.20am – Convention, International Jehovah’s Witnesses
  • Saturday 30 November at 6pm – Motorsport, Monster Energy Aus-X Open

Extra tram services run as Route 86a between East Melbourne and Stop D1 Etihad Stadium Docklands.

Extra trams to the above events will be low-floor trams, depending on availability.

Flemington Racecourse

  • Saturday 2 November at 8.30am – Racing, Derby Day
  • Tuesday 5 November at 8.30am – Racing, Melbourne Cup
  • Thursday 7 November at 10.15am – Racing, Oaks Day
  • Saturday 9 November at 8.30am – Racing, Stakes Day
  • Sunday 24 November at 7am – Event, Colour Run

Extra tram services run as Route 57a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 32 Sandown Road.

Showgrounds

  • Friday 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 14 November at 9.30am – Exams, RMIT and Victoria University
  • Sunday 10 November at 9am – Show, World Vegan Day

Extra tram services run as Route 57a between Flinders Street Station and Stop 32 Sandown Road.
