Public transport for Good Things Festival: Friday 2 December 2022

Music festivals are back at Flemington Racecourse and extra public transport services are running to and from Good Things Music Festival at Flemington Racecourse on Friday 2 December 2022

Gates open: 12pm.

Before you travel

Getting to the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flinders Street Station (Platform 8/9) to Flemington Racecourse stopping at Southern Cross Station (Platform 14), North Melbourne (Platform 6), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).

Trains depart Flinders Street Station from:

  • 11.31am until 3.50pm every 15-20 minutes

Leaving the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) to Flinders Street Station (Platform 10), stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 5), Southern Cross Station (Platform 13) then into Flinders Street.

Trains to depart from:

  • 8.02pm until 9:59pm every 20 minutes
  • 10:10pm until 11.20pm every 10 minutes (from Platform 1 and 2)

Please note: The last service to depart Flemington Racecourse will be at 11.20pm

Passengers can catch Route 57 tram, from Elizabeth Street to Epsom Road (Melbourne Showgrounds):

The following bus route travels close to the Racecourse:

  • Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the raceday)

Getting to the Racecourse

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.

Passengers are advised to catch any train from the Racecourse and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.

Getting to the Racecourse

Passengers arriving at Southern Cross Station coach terminal are advised to walk to Platform 14 and catch a Flemington Racecourse service.

Leaving the Racecourse

Customers can catch any service departing Flemington Racecourse, alight at Southern Cross Station and then walk to the coach terminal.
