We're running extra trams and trains to get passengers to all the fun and excitement of the Melbourne Royal Show!

Metropolitan train
To the Showgrounds:
The first train will depart Flinders Street Station (Platforms 8 & 9) at 9.11am, stopping at Southern Cross (Platform 14) and North Melbourne (Platform 6) stations, then running express to Melbourne Showgrounds, arriving at 9.25am.
Train services from Flinders Street to the Showgrounds will then operate:
- 9.11am to 11.31am: every 10 minutes
- 11.48am to 4.11pm: every 15 minutes
- 4.29pm to 10.04pm: every 20 minutes
From the Showgrounds:
Train services from the Showgrounds to Flinders Street will operate:
- 9.30am to 11.40am: every 10 minutes
- 11.55am to 5.21pm: every 15 minutes
- 5.38pm to 10.40pm: every 20 minutes
The last train to depart the Showgrounds will be at 10.49pm.

Additional trams will operate on Route 57a from 8.30am between Stop 1 Flinders Street Station/Elizabeth Street and Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road.
Route 57a will stop at the following:
- Stop 1 – Flinders Street/Elizabeth Street
- Stop 2 – Collins Street/Elizabeth Street
- Stop 3 – Bourke Street/Elizabeth Street
- Stop 5 – Melbourne Central/Elizabeth Street
- Stop 7 – Queen Victoria Market
- Stop 19 – Royal Children Hospital
- Stop 32 – Sandown Road/Epsom Road
Service frequencies:
- Thursday: every 7-10 minutes
