Public transport for Post Malone World Tour concert: Thursday 30 November 2023

The Grammy Award winning phenomenon returns in November for his show under the stars in Melbourne. Don't miss Post Malone's massive summer tour! Public transport is helping people get to the Melbourne Showgrounds on Thursday 30 November 2023.

Getting to the Melbourne Showgrounds

Train services will operate from Flinders Street Station (Platform 9) to Melbourne Showgrounds, stopping at Southern Cross Station (Platform 14), North Melbourne (Platform 6), and then to Melbourne Showgrounds (Platform 1).

The first train is to depart Flinders Street Station at:

  • 5:00pm until 8:14pm every 15 minutes

Leaving the Melbourne Showgrounds

Train services will operate from Melbourne Showgrounds (Platform 1) to Flinders Street Station, stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 5), Southern Cross Station (Platform 13) and then into Flinders Street (Platform 10).

Trains to depart from:

  • 5:21pm to 8:36pm every 15 minutes
  • 10:00pm to 10:45pm every 15 minutes
  • 10:45pm to 11:45pm every 5-7 minutes

Getting to and from the Melbourne Showgrounds

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road.

Getting to and from the Racecourse

No additional services will operate. All services will run to a normal weekend timetable.

The following bus route travels close to the Melbourne Showgrounds:

  • Route 404 (Footscray - Moonee Ponds via Newmarket)

Getting to the Melbourne Showgrounds

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Melbourne Showgrounds service.

  • Arriving at Southern Cross Station, change to Platform 14 and catch a Melbourne Showgrounds service
  • Arriving at North Melbourne Station, change to Platform 6 and catch a Melbourne Showgrounds service

Leaving the Melbourne Showgrounds

Passengers are advised to catch any train from the Melbourne Showgrounds and travel to Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.
