Public transport for Good Things Music Festival: Friday 1 December 2023

Good Things Festival is back and extra public transport services are running to and from Flemington Racecourse to get you there on Friday 1 December 2023.

Gates open: 11:00am
Music starts: 12:10pm

Getting to the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flinders Street Station (Platform 8/9) to Flemington Racecourse stopping at Southern Cross Station (Platform 14), North Melbourne (Platform 6), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).

Trains depart Southern Cross Station at:

  • 10:32pm until 1:32pm every 10 minutes
  • 1:50pm until 3:51pm every 15 minutes

Leaving the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) to Flinders Street Station, stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 5), Southern Cross Station (Platform 13) and then into Flinders Street.

Trains to depart from:

  • 1:53pm to 3:55pm every 15 minutes
  • 8:03pm to 9:05pm every 20 minutes
  • 9:22pm to 9:59pm every 10 minutes
  • 10:04pm until 11:29pm every 5-6 minutes (Platform 1 & 2)

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

  • Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the music festival)

Getting to the Racecourse

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.

Leaving the Racecourse

Passengers are advised to catch any train from the Racecourse and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.
