Public transport for Victorian Caravan and Camping Show: Wednesday 19 February to Sunday 23 February 2025

The Victorian Caravan and Camping Show returns to Melbourne at the Melbourne Showgrounds! Public transport is your best way to enjoy it and we're running extra services to help you get to and from the Melbourne Showgrounds.

The event runs: 

  • Wednesday 19 to Saturday 22 February: 9:30am to 5pm

  • Sunday 23 February: 9:30am to 4pm

Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 February

Getting to and from Melbourne Showgrounds

Catch a Craigieburn Line train to Newmarket Station and walk 20 minutes to the Melbourne Showgrounds on Epsom Road or walk 5 minutes to connect with Route 57 trams via Racecourse Road.

Catch a Route 57a tram from Stop 01 Flinders Street / Elizabeth Street to Stop 32 Sandown Road/ Epsom Road via Flemington Road.

Catch a Route 472 bus from Footscray Station to at Langs Road/Showgrounds.

Catch a Craigieburn Line train from Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations to Newmarket Station.

Friday 21 February

Catch a Craigieburn Line train to Newmarket Station and walk 20 minutes to the Melbourne Showgrounds on Epsom Road or walk 5 minutes to connect with Route 57 trams via Racecourse Road.

Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February

Getting to and from Melbourne Showgrounds

Trains run from Southern Cross Station (Platform 8), stopping at North Melbourne Station (Platform 2) and then Showgrounds Station.

  • From 9:15am, trains leave every 20 minutes.
  • From 10:15am, trains leave every 40 minutes.

Before 12pm, trains run express to Southern Cross Station and after 12pm, trains stop at North Melbourne Station then Southern Cross Station.

On Saturday, the last train from the Showgrounds leaves at 5:15pm.

On Sunday, the last train from the Showgrounds leaves at 4:15pm.
