Public transport for the NRL Round 3 – Melbourne Storm v Penrith Panthers: Thursday 20 March 2025

Last year’s grand finalists meet in Round 3 of the NRL Season when Melbourne Storm hosts the Penrith Panthers!

Public transport is your best way to enjoy the action and we're running extra services to help you get home from AAMI Park on Thursday 20 March.

Kick-off is at 8pm.

Please note the following disruptions on Thursday 20 March:

Return trains from Richmond Station

  • Glen Waverley – leaving at 10:10pm from Platform 10
  • Ringwood – leaving at 10:10pm from Platform 9
  • Sandringham – leaving at 10:16pm from Platform 2
  • Frankston – leaving at 10:12pm from Platform 4
  • Westall – leaving at 10:08pm from Platform 6

Getting to and from AAMI Park

Extra Route 70 trams run between Stop 4 Flinders Street/Elizabeth Street and Stop 7C MCG/John Cain Arena.

Bus icon Metropolitan bus

Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse

Catch a Route 246 bus close to the MCG.

Note: the last bus may depart prior to the end of the event. 

Regional train icon Regional train

Normal trains leave from Southern Cross Station.
