Public transport for the Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow: Saturday 24 February to Sunday 25 February 2018

Love the outdoors? The Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow is rolling into town this month. To help you enjoy the event, extra weekend services will run to and from Melbourne Showgrounds on Saturday 24 February and Sunday 25 February 2018.

Opening hours are between 9.30am and 5pm each day.

Getting to the Showgrounds

Services will depart from Southern Cross Station (platform 8) approximately every 20 minutes, stopping at North Melbourne (platform 2) then Showgrounds Station:

  • Between 9.19am and 2.19pm
  • Between 3.39pm and 6pm

Leaving the Showgrounds

Services will depart from Showgrounds Station approximately every 20 minutes, stopping at North Melbourne (platform 1) and Southern Cross stations:

  • Between 9.43am and 3.03pm
  • Between 4.03pm and 6.03pm

One service will also depart Showground Station towards Southern Cross at 3.43pm.

Getting to and from the Showgrounds

Extra trams will operate as Route 57a between Flinders Street Station and Melbourne Showgrounds. Passengers can alight trams at Epsom Road/Sandown Road (Stop 32), opposite Coles Supermarket. Melbourne Showgrounds entrance is located approximately 200 metres away.

Getting to and from the Showgrounds

The following bus route travels close to Melbourne Showgrounds:

  • Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds via Footscray)

Alight at the following stop - Langs Road/RAS Showgrounds (Ascot Vale). 

Please be advised that services may terminate prior to the end of the event.

Getting to and from the Showgrounds

Customers can catch regional train services to Melbourne, then change to a metropolitan service to the Showgrounds:

  • Arriving at Southern Cross Station, change to Platform 8 and catch a Showgrounds service
  • Arriving at North Melbourne Station, change to Platform 2 and catch a Showgrounds service

Customers arriving in Melbourne via a regional coach can change to a metropolitan train service at Southern Cross Station, Platform 8.
