2016 update for the PTV app!

17 Dec 2015

Following its successful release in 2014, the PTV app continues to go from strength to strength.

It has now been updated with an improved user interface that will make it easier to use. It also includes information on the Night Network trial that will be running throughout 2016.

The update also incorporates some exciting new features such as journey reminders, the ability to call PTV from the app, improved disruption information, detailed station facility information, improved handling of favourites and new transport maps.

This means that the PTV app truly is a one-stop-shop for public transport journey planning in Victoria. Real time information continues to be provided for tram and bus. You can also find your closest myki retail outlet and view the next 5 departures from your favourite stop or station.

If you have auto-update set up on your phone, the app will automatically update over the next day or so, depending on the platform you use.

The app is still free and is available now for both iOS and Android. To download the apps, go to the Apple and Google Play stores and search for ‘Public Transport Victoria’.
