Industrial action affecting CDC buses on Tuesday 24 July 2018

Due to ongoing industrial action, bus services operated by CDC Victoria will not run in the Sunshine area and Ballarat on Tuesday 24 July 2018, for a four hour period during the morning.

Passengers are advised that bus services may be impacted an hour before and after, and are advised to seek alternate travel arrangements.

Sunshine and Ballarat school bus routes are likely to run. We encourage parents to contact the depot for a real time update prior to making alternative travel arrangements.

The following bus routes will be impacted:

Sunshine and western suburbs

From 6am to 10am: 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 418, 419, 421, 423, 424, 425, 461

Note: Tullamarine Bus Lines and Route 400 will not be impacted.

Additional information

Further industrial action is planned on Thursday 26 July and Friday 27 July and will impact:

  • Oakleigh and south eastern suburbs: Thursday 26 July from first to last bus
  • Wyndham area: Friday 27 July from first to last bus
  • Sunshine area and western suburbs: Friday 27 July from 3pm to 7pm
  • Ballarat area:  Friday 27 July from 2pm to 6pm

CDC bus routes in Geelong are not expected to be impacted this week and will operate as per normal timetable.

Train (metropolitan and regional), tram and other bus services not operated by CDC, will not be affected by this industrial action and will operate as normal.
