Information for passengers using Parliament Station
06 Nov 2020
From Monday 9 November to Friday 13 November, we’re working with Metro Trains to trial a new way for passengers to move around Parliament Station. The trial will take place between 3pm and 6pm each afternoon.
Passengers will be guided to use specific escalators based on the platform they need.
We are trialling to see if it helps passengers move more easily around the station.
Passengers can continue to enter and exit at street level as normal.
There will be clear signage, information and announcements to direct passengers. Extra staff will be located at all entry and exit points to the station and platforms to assist.
Passengers with accessibility requirements should continue use Lonsdale Street for lift access. There is no lift at the southern end of the station.
Feedback will help inform the outcome of the trial. Any permanent change will be assessed against safety and passenger requirements.
