Bendigo bus service disruptions from Tuesday 5 October

Services on Bendigo bus routes 5, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 60, 61, 62, 63 and 65 are expected to be significantly disrupted today with further impacts expected over coming days due to driver availability.
Christians Bus Bendigo will endeavour to provide as regular a service as possible, but a high number of service cancellations are expected with a number of drivers currently in isolation.
The impacted routes are:
- Route 5 - Huntly to Kangaroo Flat
- Route 51, 52, 53 - Eaglehawk to Bendigo
- Route 54 - Maiden Gully to Bendigo
- Route 55 - Bendigo to Kangaroo Flat
- Route 60 - East Bendigo to Bendigo
- Route 61 - Bendigo to Strathdale
- Route 62 – Spring Gully to Bendigo
- Route 63 – LaTrobe Uni to Hospital
- Route 65 – Spring Gully to Bendigo
Christians Bus Bendigo school runs in the area will operate as normal today to support year 12 students to sit the GAT.
Christians Bus Bendigo and the Department of Transport are working closely with the Department of Health. We are working to support staff, and exercising an abundance of caution in the interest of drivers, other employees and passengers.
