As the flood emergency continues, Victorians are encouraged to carefully plan any travel with hundreds of roads damaged or closed due to flooding.
Areas of current concern are Shepparton, Mooroopna, Orrvale, Murchison, Kerang and Echuca. However, all areas of the state have been impacted by the weather.
V/Line service impacts
While there are currently limited impacts to train services on the Ballarat/Ararat/Maryborough, Geelong/Warrnambool, Seymour, Albury, Bendigo and Gippsland lines, passengers are reminded to check departures or the V/Line website before travelling.
- Train services have resumed on the Shepparton Line between Southern Cross and Shepparton.
- Trains are operating on the Bendigo Line between Southern Cross and Bendigo with replacement coach services operating between Bendigo, Epsom and Eaglehawk.
- Echuca Line train services are operating between Southern Cross and Bendigo, with replacement coaches between Bendigo and Echuca.
Follow the warning signs and only cross the tracks at designated crossing points.
Extra care should be taken on platforms and when boarding and getting off public transport, as surfaces can become slippery.
Real-time traffic conditions are available at traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au or via the VicTraffic mobile app.
