Free Tram Zone extended for AFL and NRL preliminary finals

To help passengers get to the AFL and NRL preliminary finals on Friday 21 September, the Free Tram Zone will be extended to include tram stops close to the MCG and Melbourne Park.
The Free Tram Zone extension will be in place from 4pm to last service.
This means passengers travelling by tram from within the Free Tram Zone in the CBD, won't need to touch on their myki to get to the MCG and Melbourne Park.
Extended Free Tram Zone stops are:
Route 48, 75 and 75a
- Stop 9 Wellington Parade/Lansdowne Street
- Stop 10 Wellington Parade/Jolimont Road
- Stop 11 Wellington Parade/Jolimont Station
Route 70 and 70a
- Stop 7a William Barak Bridge
- Stop 7b Rod Laver Arena (Route 70 and 70a)
- Stop 7c MCG/Melbourne Park (Route 70 and 70a)

Passengers travelling by tram from outside the Free Tram Zone, or by bus or train will still need to touch on their myki to ensure they have a valid fare.
