Industrial action affecting CDC buses on Thursday 26 July 2018 and Friday 27 July 2018

CDC Victoria industrial action planned in Melbourne and Ballarat on Thursday 26 July and Friday 27 July will no longer go ahead.

All services on CDC Victoria bus routes will run as per the normal timetable and myki machines on board will operate as normal.

 

Due to ongoing industrial action, bus services operated by CDC Victoria will not run at selected times in the Melbourne suburbs on Thursday 26 July 2018 and Friday 27 July 2018.

Buses will not operate in Ballarat on Friday 27 July 2018, from 2pm to 6pm.

Passengers are advised that bus services may be impacted an hour before and after, and are advised to seek alternate travel arrangements.

School bus routes may also be impacted. We encourage parents to contact the local depot for a real time update prior to making alternative travel arrangements.

The following bus routes will be impacted:

Melbourne – Oakleigh area

Thursday 26 July, first to last bus: Routes 605, 612, 623, 624, 625, 626 will not run

Route 900 is partially operated by Ventura Bus and will operate to an altered timetable.

Route 630 will run to an altered timetable.

Melbourne – Sunshine Area

Friday 27 July, from 2pm to 6pm: Routes 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 418, 419, 421, 423, 424, 425 and 461 will not run.

Melbourne – Wyndham area

Friday 27 July, from first to last bus: Routes 150, 151, 153, 160, 161, 166, 167, 170, 180, 181, 190, 191, 192, 400, 411, 412, 414, 415, 417, 439, 441, 443, 494, 495, 496, 497, 498, 606 will not run.

Ballarat

Friday 27 July, 2pm to 6pm: All Ballarat bus routes will not run.

CDC bus routes in Geelong are not expected to be impacted this week and will operate as per normal timetable.

Train (metropolitan and regional), tram and other bus services not operated by CDC, will not be affected by this industrial action and will operate as normal.
