Ongoing industrial action involving CDC Victoria bus services
Added: 20 July 2018
From Saturday 21 July 2018, there will be ongoing industrial action involving CDC Victoria bus services.
Services will run as scheduled.
Any changes to services that may occur, will be communicated via the Live travel updates page.
Passengers may notice some differences to services:
- Some drivers may not be wearing uniform
- Passengers may not be able to touch on or off with a myki card, as some myki equipment may not be operational.
- Passengers may not be able to top up their myki or buy a myki on board a bus.
If you are unable to touch on, top up or purchase a myki, you can still travel on the bus.
We encourage passengers to make all reasonable efforts to ensure their myki is topped up and valid for use, prior to travelling.
For journeys on more than one mode of transport, passengers can still top up or purchase a myki at train stations, some tram stops and onboard bus services with operational myki equipment.
Customer service staff across the public transport network have been informed of the industrial action.
