Route 236: Temporary stop closures for the South Melbourne Market in January and February 2019

Due to the South Melbourne Market on Cecil Street, South Melbourne on Thursday evenings in January and February 2019, bus Route 236 will be diverted in both directions and some bus stops will not be serviced from 3pm to 11pm on each of the following dates:

  • Thursday 10 January 2019
  • Thursday  17 January 2019
  • Thursday 24 January 2019
  • Thursday 31 January 2019
  • Thursday 7 February 2019
  • Thursday 14 February 2019
  • Thursday 21 February 2019
  • Thursday 28 February 2019

The following bus stops will not be serviced in both directions:

  • South Melbourne Market/Cecil Street
  • Ferrars Street/Dorcas Street 

Passengers are advised to use the temporary bus stops at:

  • Coote Street/Dorcas Street (to Queen Victoria Market)
  • Queen Street/Dorcas Street (to Garden City)
  • Clarendon Street/City Road (both directions)
