PTV releases latest patronage statistics for Victoria’s public transport
Public transport grew by 3.5% in the March 2015 quarter compared to the previous year, with the strongest growth being on the tram network as recent fare changes and the introduction of the Free Tram Zone in Melbourne’s CBD took effect.

Metro delivered 91.6 per cent of services on-time in December.
Yarra Trams delivered 80.7 per cent of services on-time in December.

Regional Network Development Plan
The Regional Network Development Plan guides the short, medium and long term priorities needed to modernise the network with more track, more train, better facilities and more services.

The package of works to transform the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines will increase capacity as well as improve reliability on one of Melbourne's busiest rail corridors.
