Better stations

As part of the Victorian Government’s $328.4 million investment into critical public transport and road maintenance upgrades to create and support more than 600 jobs, we're improving train stations through an investment of $24 million as part of our coronavirus (COVID-19) economic recovery.

We’re upgrading train stations, creating jobs and improving accessibility and facilities at 16 train stations across Victoria. Upgrades will be undertaken at the following stations:

Metropolitan:

  • Aircraft
  • Anstey
  • Footscray
  • Frankston
  • Heathmont
  • Huntingdale
  • Jordanville
  • Moonee Ponds
  • Royal Park
  • South Kensington

Regional:

  • Broadford
  • Kilmore East
  • Lara
  • Melton
  • North Geelong
  • North Shore

Upgrades will include improvements to station car parks, bicycle racks and shelters, as well as providing better seating, passenger information, toilet facilities, and improving accessibility for all passengers.
