Changes to Glenroy Station bus services
From Sunday 3 July 2022, minor route and stop changes will be made to bus Routes 513 Eltham – Glenroy, 534 Glenroy - Coburg, 536 Gowrie - Glenroy, and 951 Brunswick Station – Glenroy Station so buses can access the new Glenroy Station bus interchange.
Route 513 will be split into two individual route numbers:
Glenroy Station has been upgraded and a new bus interchange has been constructed as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project. Buses will access the bus interchange in a one-way movement via the new roundabout at Hartington Street and Nelson Street.
Routes 534 and 536 will access the new bus interchange in a clockwise loop via Widford Street, Glenroy Road, Hartington Street and Melbourne Avenue.
Routes 513, 514 and 951 will continue to access the interchange from the south (via Wheatsheaf Road and Hartington Street) but will travel a short additional distance north to the new roundabout to turn around.
Due to the new bus movements, a new bus stop will be built on Widford Street near the corner of Melbourne Avenue and the two bus stops located on the south side of Melbourne Avenue will be decommissioned.
There will be minor timetable changes on routes 513, 514 and 951. The new 513 and 514 timetables will be displayed on a combined timetable to assist passengers with their journeys.
